The Pedal Commander for the R1T remaps the accelerator pedal's response curve across multiple selectable modes. Rivian tunes the factory pedal map for smooth, predictable delivery, particularly in the early part of pedal travel; the controller lets you sharpen that for a more immediate feel, or soften it for low-traction and towing situations.
It changes response, not output. It plugs into the factory harness and can be unplugged to return the truck to stock behavior.
