Taking the doors off a Jeep removes the factory mirrors with them. Most states require at least one functioning side mirror on a vehicle in operation, so a doors-off mirror is what keeps a Jeep street legal with the doors in the garage. Check your own state's requirement, since the number and placement rules vary.
TrailView™ Snap mounts to the upper door hinge once the doors are removed. It slides into position, rotates toward the body, and a magnet snaps it against the tub. No tools and no hardware, and it deploys in seconds. Snap is available for the Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT, and in a separate JK-specific version.
TrailView™ Slide mounts to the lower grab handle position on both the driver and passenger side, form-fit to the factory handle for an OEM-like appearance. The mirror sits on a machined extension arm with a push-button release: press the button and the mirror slides inward to the cab. That means TrailView Slide stays on the Jeep when the doors go back on and doubles as a blind spot mirror — there is nothing to remove, store, or lose. Slide fits the Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT.
Both designs are sold as a pair or as a driver-side single. The TrailView™ Mirror Plunger V2 is an upgrade part for existing Snap mirrors. Jeep Wrangler JK owners should order the JK-specific Snap version — the JL/JT mirrors do not fit the JK hinge.
