The Campsite Carbon 304 stainless axle-back replaces the factory muffler and tailpipe section behind the rear axle, which is where the JL's exhaust note is most restricted and most easily changed without touching the catalytic converter or emissions hardware.
304 stainless resists the salt and trail exposure that pits aluminized factory tubing, particularly at the rear where road spray hits hardest. Installation is direct bolt-on — no cutting and no welding.
