C4 Corvette Intake Kit for LT1, LT4 & LT5 | Campsite Carbon

The C4 Corvette has aged into an interesting space. It is no longer just “the older Corvette.” It is a lightweight, analog, wedge-shaped performance car with a personality all its own. Whether it is an LT1 car, an LT4 Grand Sport, or an LT5-powered ZR-1, the C4 deserves parts that clean up the engine bay without turning the car into something it is not.

That is exactly what we set out to do with the new Campsite Carbon bolt-on intake for 1990–1996 C4 Corvettes.

This is not a wild horsepower-claim intake. It is not a “50 HP with one easy mod” part. It is a clean, direct-fit intake upgrade designed to replace the bulky factory intake ducting with something stronger, lighter, better looking, and more enjoyable every time you open the hood.

Built for LT1, LT4, and LT5 C4 Corvettes

The Campsite Carbon C4 Corvette intake is designed for:

1990–1995 Corvette ZR-1 with LT5
1992–1996 Corvette with LT1
1996 Corvette with LT4

That means it covers the major late C4 performance platforms, including both factory MAF-equipped and speed-density cars.

The goal was simple: make a direct-fit intake that installs easily, looks right in the engine bay, and works with the factory architecture instead of requiring unnecessary modifications.

Strong, Lightweight PA12 Nylon Construction

The intake tube is manufactured from PA12 nylon, giving it a strong, lightweight structure with a clean textured finish. The material choice was intentional. We wanted something that felt more refined than a typical plastic tube, but also more practical and production-ready than a one-off prototype part.

The result is a modern intake tube with an OEM+ look that fits the character of the C4 Corvette. It cleans up the engine bay without looking out of place.

High-Flow Reusable Oval Filter

The kit includes a high-flow reusable oval filter that gives the front of the engine bay a cleaner, more purposeful appearance. It also adds a little more intake sound, which is one of the most enjoyable parts of the upgrade.

Will it magically add 50 horsepower?

No.

Will it look better, sound better, clean up the engine bay, and make the car more fun to pop the hood on?

Absolutely.

Simple Bolt-On Installation

This intake was designed to be an easy, no-drama install. No permanent modifications are required, and the kit installs in about five minutes using basic hand tools.

The kit includes:

PA12 nylon intake tube
High-flow reusable oval filter
Stainless steel mounting hardware
Laser-etched aluminum logo plate

It is the kind of part you can install in the garage, driveway, or at a weekend wrenching session without turning the car into a project.

Custom Logo Plate Options

Each intake includes a laser-etched aluminum logo plate, with 10 finish options available. That gives owners a way to match the look of the intake to the rest of their engine bay, whether they prefer subtle, clean, bright, dark, or a little extra color.

It is a small detail, but details matter — especially on a car where the engine bay is part of the ownership experience.

Why We Made It

The C4 Corvette has a dedicated following, but it does not always get the same level of modern aftermarket attention as newer Corvette generations. We wanted to build something specifically for C4 owners who care about fit, finish, simplicity, and clean design.

This intake is for the owner who wants the car to feel a little more special without overcomplicating it. It is a practical bolt-on part with a better look, a better sound, and a more finished engine bay presentation.

Pre-Orders Are Now Open

The Campsite Carbon C4 Corvette intake is available now for pre-order.

This is a direct-fit bolt-on intake for LT1, LT4, and LT5-powered C4 Corvettes, designed and built with the same clean, functional approach we bring to all Campsite Carbon products.

Simple install. Clean look. Better sound. No nonsense.
