Campsite Carbon designs and manufactures its shift knobs in the USA. Each one is laser-etched and cut for a specific vehicle's shifter rather than sold as a generic fitment, because thread pitch, shifter diameter and retention method vary widely between platforms.
Current fitments cover the Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT manual, the 2011–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, the C4 Corvette in both manual and automatic, and the Fox Body and SN95 Mustang — the Mustang knob covering 1979–1993 and 1994–2004 cars, which share a shifter thread specification.
Manual and automatic knobs are not interchangeable even on the same car. A manual knob threads onto the shifter; the C4 automatic knob is retained by a snap ring and requires snap ring pliers to remove the old one and fit the new. We sell a compatible Channellock set alongside it, because the job isn't practical without the right size and most owners don't have one on hand.
